Nora Beatrice Ginsel Crawford

Services for Nora Beatrice Crawford, 88, of Elkhart will be at
1 p.m. Wednesday at Guiceland Cemetery with the Rev. Donnie
Howard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of
Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Crawford died Monday evening at Spring
Season in Elkhart. She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Anderson
County to George Madison and Cordelia Bain Ginsel. Mrs. Crawford
was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Charlie Crawford, in 1995; sister, Marie
Henthorne; and brothers, Millard Ginsel, Jim Ginsel and Ervin
Ginsel. Mrs. Crawford is survived by daughters, Charlsey Bragg
of Palestine, Oweta Joyce Wilson and husband Albert of Waco,
Abbie Hamby and husband Tom of Elkhart, Linda Fay Hill and husband
David of Magnolia, and Betty Beaird and husband Bob of Kaufman;
sons, Charles Crawford and wife Margie, George Crawford and wife
Ruby, and Donald Crawford and wife Iva, all of Elkhart; 28
grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Grandsons will
serve as pallbearers. Condolence calls will be received from
6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to
