Mrs. Louisa McCann

Funeral services for Mrs. Louisa McCann, long time resident of Anderson County,
were scheduled to be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Bailey Chapel here
with the Rev. U. VanSickles of Veribest, Tex., officiating. Burial is to follow
in the Starr Cemetery. Mrs. McCann died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home on
Route 2, Elkhart. She was 85. Born November 9, 1874, in Anderson County, she was
the daughter of the late John O. and Carolyn McCann. Her husband, R.J. McCann,
preceded her in death in 1936. Mrs. McCann is survived by a son, Frank McCann of
Elkhart; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtie Walston and Mrs. Cora Bozeman, both of Elkhart;
two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
