Clariece Dyal

Services for Clariece Dyal, 89, of Lubbock, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Starr
Cemetery in Elkhart with Dr. Jeff Cover officiating. Burial will be under the
direction of Rix Funeral Directors of Lubbock. Mrs. Dyal died Thursday at Lubbock
Methodist Hospital. She was born in Anderson County on Feb. 5, 1904. She married
Bonnie Dyal in Elkhart on July 29, 1922, and he preceded her in death in 1973.
She and her husband owned and operated a restaurant in Pasadena. Mrs. Dyal had
been a resident of the Palestine-Elkhart area most of her life, and had lived at
Carillon Retirement Center in Lubbock for the last 10 years. She is survived by
her daughter, Reta Williams of Lubbock; son, Elton Dyal of Sun Lake, Ariz.; seven
grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Starr Cemetery
Foundation or a favorite charity.
