Laura Lyn Ballard

Services for Laura Lyn Ballard, 40, of Palestine, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Kunnakkattuthara officiating. Burial will
follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster. A Rosary will
be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Miss Ballard died Monday at her home.
She was born March 7, 1962 in Muenchweiler, Germany to Jerry Lee and Evelyn Florence
Miller Ballard. Miss Ballard was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was
employed with Dell Computers. She is survived by her parents of Palestine; sisters,
Brenda Brown and Julie Ballard, both of Palestine. Pallbearers will be Donny Walker,
Grady Cole, Donald Cumm, David Bunch, Donald Dressell and Al Alaniz. Honorary pallbearers
will be Tucker Axum, Craig Lighteap, Shawn Ivey and Don Gage. Visitation will be held
immediately following the Rosary at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church building fund.
