Wesley Clinton Vineyard

Services for Wesley Clinton Vineyard, 87, of Mixon, and formerly of Palestine, will
be at 3 p.m. Friday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Andy Ohman officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Park under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mr. Vineyard
died Tuesday at Twin Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville. He was born
May 18, 1915 in Palestine to C.S. Vineyard and Martha Thomas Vineyard. Mr. Vineyard
was a self-employed roofer and carpenter in the construction industry for 50 years.
He was a deacon of the Grace Baptist Church for 50 years. Mr. Vineyard was preceded in
death by his first wife, Beatrice Vineyard, in 1985; and one great grandchild. He is
survived by his wife, Robbie Vineyard of Mixon; daughters, Billie Calame of Palestine,
Barbara McClain and Leona Mayfield, both of Houston; sons, Floyd Vineyard of Athens,
Foy Vineyard of Houston, Robert Vineyard of Palestine, Clint Mazingo and James Mazingo,
both of Mixon and Dwaine Mazingo of Brownsboro; sisters, Ruth Scheible of San Antonio
and Ellen Miller of Palestine; brothers, David Vineyard of Palestine and Don Vineyard
of Shreveport, La.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers will
be Jessie Light, Earnest Light, George Light, Gerald Ray Vineyard, Chris Vineyard and
Philip Lee. Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
