Beatrice Rogers Vineyard

Services for Beatrice Rogers Vineyard, 65, of 1235 South Royall St., Palestine, will
be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Charles Winesburgh officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park. Mrs. Vineyard was
born Feb. 12, 1920, daughter of Tom G. and Bessie Miles Rogers. A lifelong resident
of Anderson County, she died Monday in Anderson County Memorial Hospital after a brief
illness. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and a 25 year licensed vocational
nurse. Survivors include husband, W.C. Vineyard; daughters, Billie Ann Calame of
Palestine; sons, Floyd Vineyard of Rialton, Claif., Foy Vineyard of Houston and
Robert H. Vineyard of Palestine; sister, Billie Ann Gibson of Houston; brothers, R.D.
Rogers of Nebraska, T.G. Rogers of Houston, Roy Rogers of Delaware, Coy Rogers of
Austin, Harold Ward and Floyd Starr, both of Dallas and Gary Rogers of Palestine; 13
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Pallbearers include grandsons Jessie Light,
George Light, Christopher Vineyard, Danny Vineyard, Gerald Vineyard, Robert Vineyard
and Phillip Lee. Condolence calls will be received at the Vineyard residence, 729-4756.
