Dan Fitzgerald

Services for Dan Fitzgerald, 83, of Montalba, will be held Saturday at
2 p.m. in the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Frank Royall
officiating. Burial will be in Rock Church Cemetery under the direction
of Bailey Funeral Home. Mr. Fitzgerald was born March 24, 1901 in Blackfoot
to Tom and Ellen Price Fitzgerald. A retired farmer, he was a member of
Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ola Vee Ward
Fitzgerald of Blackfoot; one daughter, Betty Jean Fitzgerald of Midland;
one brother, R.A. Fitzgerald of Athens; three sisters, Jennie Hill of Cedar
Creek, Maude Dean of Palestine and Eunice Garner of Houston.
