Lois G. Baker

Services for Lois G. Baker, 85, of Grapeland, were at 10 a.m. today in the
Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Van Vleet and Fred Lintelman
officiating. Burial followed in Parker Cemetery in Houston under the direction
of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Baker died Saturday afternoon at Spring Season in
Elkhart. She was born June 18, 1917 in Rusk to Joseph Clay Gentry and Etta
Brooks Gentry. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She
was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Baker in
1986; and a great grandson, Cameron Baker, in 2002. Mrs. Baker is survived by
sons, Larry David of Homer, La. and David Baker of Pasadena; brother, James
Ward of Richmond; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
