Jewel Brock Branson

Services for Jewel Branson, 88, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Judson
Cemetery with Dr. Stephen Holcombe officiating. Arrangements are under the direction
of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Branson died Monday morning at Palestine Regional Medical
Center. She was born Dec. 26, 1915 in Tioga to Jim and Eva Smith Brock. Mrs. Branson
was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Palestine. She was preceded
in death by her parents, Jim and Eva Brock; husband, Albert Branson; son, Albert Branson
Jr.; and brothers, Wayne Brock, James Brock and Joe Brock. Mrs. Branson is survived by
sons, Steve Branson and wife Doris, Jimmie Joe Branson and wife Betty, and Jerry Branson
and wife Laveounia, all of Palestine; sister, June Parker of Palestine; grandchildren,
Gregory Branson, Joseph Branson, Becky Branson, and Dennis Branson; great-grandchildren,
Jacob Branson and Sarah Branson, all of Palestine. Condolence calls will be received from
6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
