Index of Obituaries for Jemison Quarters Cemetery

The Jemison (Jimmerson) Quarters Cemetery, which began as a slave
cemetery, is today the only remaining evidence of the once
thriving Jemison Plantation. Coming to Texas from Taladega Alabama,
Col. L. Jemison, a Confederate officer, settled in the Tennessee
Colony area with his family and slaves.
