Mollie Welch Beasley

Funeral Services for Mollie Beasley, 83, of Montalba, were
held at 2 p.m. today in the Montalba United Methodist Church,
the Rev. Charles Grasty and Sam Cox officiating. Burial was
in the Holly Springs Cemetery, Montalba, under the direction
of Hassell & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine. Mrs. Beasley
died Sunday morning at Anderson County Memorial Hospital after
a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Montalba, she was
born Dec 20, 1899, in Montalba, a daughter of Frank Welch and
Ida Thompson Welch. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her
husband, Ernest Beasley of Montalba; a son, Leland Beasley of
Palestine; a daughter, Elsie McGee of Montalba; two sisters,
Ina Lee Kiser and Pearl Kennedy, both of Palestine; five
grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were
Rodney McGee, Garry McGee, Phillip McGee, Freddie Huddleston,
Jimmy Warren and Gregg Kennedy.
