Services for Ollie McKinney, 84, of Elkhart, will be
Saturday at 11 A.M. in the First United Methodist
Church, Elkhart, with the Rev. Cliff Bailey
officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories
Cemetery, Elkhart, under the direction of Hassell &
Foster Funeral Home. Mrs. McKinney died Thursday at
the Elkhart Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She
was born Jan 17, 1901 in Madisonville, a daughter of
Henry and Carrie Corley Gilcrease. A resident of Elkhart
for the past 65 years, she was a member of First United
Methodist Church and a retired lunchroom employee of
the Elkhart school district. Her husband, B.M. (Boss)
McKinney, preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1965. Survivors
include a daughter, Wila Dean Strait of Jacksonville; five
sons, R.L. McKinney, Mardeas McKinney and Hubert McKinney,
all of Elkhart, Billy McKinney of Hartman, Ark., and D.C.
McKinney of Lancaster; five sisters, Nora Lease, Eva Graham
and Ophelia Cysborski, all of Van Nuys, Calif., Minnie
Barrington of Houston and Delores Gilcrease of California;
27 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and three great
great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert McKinney,
David McKinney, Ronnie McKinney, Loail McKinney, Timmy
McKinney and Thomas Haley. Condolence calls will be
