Sammy Wayne Oliver Jr.

Services for Sammy Wayne Oliver Jr., 38, of Jacksonville will be at
1 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Emanuel Funeral Home in Palestine
with the Rev. Kevin Willmott officiating. Burial will follow at
Concord Cemetery in the Brushy Creek community. Mr. Oliver died
Saturday. He was born March 11, 1964, in Madisonville to Sammy and
Joyce Ferguson Oliver. Mr. Oliver graduated from Elkhart High School
in 1982. He was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church in
Freeport. He is survived by his parents, of Jacksonville; sisters,
Cynthia Segura of Arlington, Jackie Gul of Arlington and Rebecca
Urbina of Palestine; brother, Oscar Oliver of Jacksonville; and a
host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
today at the funeral home.
