Services for Vera R. McQueen, of Houston, will be at 1 p.m.
Wednesday at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Rodgers
officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Montalba. Mrs.
McQueen died Sunday at her home after a brief illness. She was born
July 7, 1908, in ??sburg (unreadable), a daughter of John and Martha
Wallace. She was preceded in death by her ??er (unreadable), Georgia
Atkins, in 1969. She is survived by her daughter, ??mmye
(unreadable) Lemon of Houston; three granddaughters; and eight great
grandchildren.
