Samuel S. Malone

Funeral services for Samuel S. Malone, 86, of Rt. 3. Palestine, were
held today at 2:30 p.m. in the Concord Church with Rev. Marvin
Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Concord Cemetery. Nephews of
Mr. Malone served as pallbearers. A retired cook, Mr. Malone was
born in Anderson County on September 26, 1873. He died Sunday at
11:05 a.m. in a local nursing home following a long illness.
Survivors are a brother, Jim Malone and a sister, Miss Alice Malone,
both of Palestine. Arrangements were by Hassell & Foster.
