Bernice Elizabeth Lane Lively

Services for Bernice Elizabeth Lively, 91, of Palestine, will be at
1 p.m. Thursday at Concord Cemetery. Arrangements are under the
direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Lively died Tuesday afternoon at
Palestine Health Care. She was born Oct. 21, 1911 in Oakdale, La. to
Walter and Lula Smith Lane. Mrs. Lively was a Baptist and a
homemaker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Granvil Harding.
Mrs. Lively is survived by her husband of 50 years, Oscar Lively of
Palestine; and two step-grandchildren. Condolence calls will be
from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
