Horace Clinton Kelley
Palestine Herald Press - Friday January 26, 1951

Horace Clinton Kelley, 55, of 405 W. Green Street, was
killed Thursday about 10 a.m., the result of an accident
near Montgomery, Texas. A lumber sawyer, Mr. Kelley was
born in Palestine on May 5, 1894. Funeral services will
be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Concord Church with Rev.
Marvin Johnson officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers
and interment will be in the Concord Cemetery. Survivors:
wife, Mrs. Laura Ruby Kelly, Palestine; two daughters, Mrs.
Jack Chapman of Palestine and Mrs. T.L. Fortenberry of
Comanche, Oklahoma; one brother, J.M. Kelley of Palestine;
three sisters, Mrs. J.S. Willingham of Palestine, Mrs. A.G.
Smith of Palinview and Mrs. Gus Hensley of Winnie Wood,
Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren.
