Services for Margaret C. Rampy, 84, of Malakoff, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan 2, 1994 at
Callaway-Tomlinson Funeral Home of Malakoff with Rev. Casey Perry Officiating. Interment
followed in the Bethel Cemetery, Cayuga, under the direction of Callaway-Tomlinson
Funeral Home of Malakoff. Land for the cemetery was donated by the Rampy family. She died
Saturday, Jan 1, 1994 in East Texas Medical Center - Athens. Rampy was born June 25, 1909
in Portales, N.M. to John Hughes and Minnie Holder Hughes. She married Adam Rampy in Cayuga
on Dec 26, 1927. He preceded her in death on Jan 6, 1980. Rampy was a homemaker and a member
of the First Baptist Church of Malakoff. Survivors include her sons, Harold Rampy of
Palestine and Alvin Rampy of Tyler; daughters, Inez Allen of Malakoff and Marsha Legard
of Brenham; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
