William Miller was registered at birth as William Charleson, by the time he married Margaret Forbes he had changed his name to Miller. He was a mealmiller by trade. He worked at the mill in Evlix then moved to Rogart, where three children were born, from there he moved to Banff, then Auchterarder, Strathmartin nr Dundee, he kept moving down the country as head mealmiller until he arrived in Dunfermline where he worked as Head Mealmiller with Grey & Harrower. After either illness or retiral on leaving the Millhouse they had a house and shop in Victoria Street, Dunfermline where he died in 1936 from Prostrate cancer
