Buggy Capsized over a Hill.
One Woman Killed and Another
Seriously Injured.

HOKITIKA, January 10.
Mrs Teasdale, of Brunnerton, and Mrs J. V. Thomson, of Greymouth, when proceeding last night by a vehicle to Ross with some other relatives to attend the funeral of Mrs Delaney, of Grey Valley, a sister who died rather suddenly yesterday, were capsized over a hill at a sharp turn on the road. A. messenger who came in for medical assistance in the early morning, states that Mrs Teasdale was killed. Mrs Thomson seriously injured, and the other occupants slightly hurt. The buggy, which was drawn. by a pair of horses, was driven by a brother of the family, a young man named John Gagliardi.
