John Soper (1793-1830) gunmaker, suicide [the eldest son of John]. 'Yesterday at 6am neighbours, alarmed a shrieks from his Fisher Row House found him in the agonies of death in his workshop having discharged a shotgun into his head. With one end on his forehead, he reached the trigger with an iron bar.
