Constable J. Edwards, of Takaka, has been informed by cable from the High Commissioner, London, that his brother, Private R. Edwards, who left New Zealand with the Eighth Reinforcements, has been admitted to the Walton-on-Thames hospital, suffering from wounds. Prior to enlisting, Private Edwards, who was an. engine driver by trade, was employed on the Gisborne Government railways.
