Schooner of 37 tons built at Nelson in 1846 sailed from Nelson for Wellington 21st November 1846 with seven passengers, Lost with all hands near D'Urville Islands.. Capt George Cooper.

bullet  Medical Notes:

He drowned as captain on the maiden voyage of the schooner Phoenix. Prior to being lengthened 10ft and renamed the Phoenix, the boat was the cutter, Lively, which George also captained.
