OPR Campsie - James Tagg, Printer, Lennoxtown and Anne Reid his spouse had twins baptized named the elder one, John and the younger one Robert Dalgleish. Witnesses James McKerrow, Surgeon and William McKerrow, Writer. 5 Oct 1819. Information from Strathclyde Regional Archives, Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Application for Relief. Parish of Govan Combination. No.98356. 20 Jan 1891. John Tagg, 20 Summerfield Cottages, Whiteinch. Blockcutter. Wholly disabled, supposed insanity. Living with wife, Martha Stewart, his daughter Martha and her three children. Seven other children not living with family. Daughter Martha applied for his removal. Children- Annie gave 5/- per week, William 5/- per week and Martha has income of 12/- per week. Has lived in present house for about 17years. Has been off work for 6months but has done little for years. Rent of house £11.10/-. Settlement of 8/- per week sent to daughter Martha.
