Colin was a draftsman with AWA for all his working life. He was in the Navy at the end of the war when he was released from his protected occupation. Colin was Able Seaman no 10317/9542 RAN during WW2. He reported for service 16 December 1944 on board the "Penguin" and served "Cerberus, Bataan, Rushcutter". He was Demobilised from service 10 February 1947. After the war he worked as a draughtsman for AWA.
He was a great sportsman - cricket, baseball, and Rugby Union. He was also very involved with the Masonic Lodge. Colin died 23 August 1980 from a heart attack at the Lindfield Oval while refereeing a Rugby Union match.
