Frank Joseph MONDRY III
Born Ravenwood Hospital, Chicago, ILFrank died at home but was taken to St. James Olympia Fields hospital with a faint heart beat. He had undergone quadruple bypass heart surgey March 24, 2004 and was home recouperating. On Easter Sunday April 11 he had a fever and the next day was diagnosed with a bladder infection. At this time he was also diagnosed with an aneursym of the aorta of his heart. To correct this another operation would be required but could not be performed while he had a fever. The following weekend, on Sunday the 18th, Gary and I stopped to visit him at home that afternoon at approximately 2:30pm. After visiting with him for approximately 30 minutes we left and came home. A couple of hours later we noticed an ambulance outside Frank's house (they live around the corner from us). We rushed over there to find the paramedics there and he was rushed to hospital. Gary and I drove there with Marsha, where a short time later he was pronounced dead.
