Arlene was born when they lived on Throop Street, Chicago. Moved to a Bungalow on Paulina Street where Marsha and Gary were born. Then moved to 9708 South 50th Court in Oak Lawn (Chicago).
Gary was named after Gary - Agnes was born in Syracuse, New York and was a blonde baby when Alice, Ivy and Alec arrived in the USA from Scotland. James went to meet them at Ellis Island when they arrived.

Lived on 144 Paul Avenue in Syracuse NY. Then at approx. 5 yrs of age moved to a farm in Rock Glen in Gainsville, New York area. At about 7 or 8 yrs old moved to Detroit. While in Detroit James Crabb used to take the girls to Boblo Island going by the train and boat with Ivy and Jean (Gigi). There they went to the amusement park and had such things as cotton candy etc.
At 12 or 13 moved to Chicago.

They were first married in Chicago they lived downstairs from Genabee and Joe Reed (Pa's brother). Arlene was born at German Deaconess Hospital whilst they were living there. Then they moved in with James Reed (father) on Throop Street. While living here Jean (Gigi) married Lawrence who lived across the street and Lilly and Agnes were in the wedding.) then moved to a brick bungalow on Paulina Street Lilly came with them and James (Grandpa) lived with Gee and Lawrence. Marsha and Gary were born when they lived on Paulina Street. Then they moved to 9708 50th Court in Oak Lawn when Gary was approx. 2 years old.



Agnes and family went to visit Alice in Grass Valley Ca (near Reno NV) - Sally her daughter lived in Reno. Ted - son, lived with Alice after the war. Alice was married to Ed Grant - 10 children lived 4 died - one set of twins and two others. Children who survived were Ted, Florence, Irene, Ruth, Iva-May, Gary, Richard, Mary, Janet and Sally (youngest). (Irene died in 1998). Ted went into the Marines at 17 yrs of age.
