Elizabeth and two brothers Henry and William came out to Nelson with their mother, Charlotte on the ill fated Lloyds in 1842
The Inwood/Winderbank family had been amongst the first to move across to the Motueka district, where John Windebank ran a small farm on rural section 64 at Riwaka.
Elizabeth died at the age of 35, of cancer of the uterus, leaving a family of 9 children aged 21 months to 15 yrs.

The cause of his death was Heart failure.
