I George PETTIT of Coldred in The County of Kent Yeomanm this Twenty Third day of January in the Eighth Yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord William the third by the grace of God now King of England Anno Dmi 1696 being ..zy in body but of sound abd perfect mind and memory the Lord be therefore praised. And considering the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and forme following that is to say First I ___ up my soule into the hands of my Creator who hundred and eighty seven Make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First I Give and Devise All that my Messuage or Tenement with the Outhouses Yard Backside Well Garden Ground and Appurtenances thereunto belonging as the same are now used and enjoyed situate lying and Being in the parish of Walmer aforesaid and now in the Tenure or Occupation of Richard HOPPER or his Assigns Unto him the said Richard HOPPER To Hold unto the said his Heirs and Assigns for ever Also I Give and Devise All that my Messuage or Tenement with the Barn Outhouses Edifices
