All the Jesses
My Jesse Gatlin ancestor was the son of Lazarus & Sally Gatlin. Lazarus Gatlin died in Davidson Co. TN in 1808. Jesse was born 1769 and died in Hopkins Co. KY about 1839. He married first Polly Prescott and later Cassy Gibson.
Another Jesse Gatlin b. 1810 married Mary Wilson.

Another Jesse Gatlin, b. about 1749 and died Feb. 4, 1782, served as a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He applied for a pension on February 8, 1821 at the age of 72. He entered the service in North Carolina, and fought in the Battle of Guilford. His family lived in Randolph Co. North Carolina. His wife's name was Elizabeth Bradley, b. Dec. 8, 1759, and they married 1781, in Bute Co. N.C.

Jessie Lee Gatlin born 12 January 1883 in Ranch Home,
San Saba Co., TX and died 17 February 1935 in Patagonia, AZ. He married Florstine Unknown, and his second wife is Houston A. Jones born 1883 in San Rafael, New Mexico and died 3 August 1924.
