Place of death was Sutter Extension Water District Canal Robert Amarel Ranch on Township Road, outside city coporate limits of Yuba City, Sutter County. Had lived in county for 33 years and in California for his life. His last usual residence was Route 1 box 271, (on farm) Yuba City, Sutter Co., California. Physician or Cornoner was G.W. Carpenter-sheriff coroner, and H.P. Ollar-undersheriff coroner who investigated and autopsied on 4/7/1959. Buried 4/9/1959 in Sutter Cemetary from the Chapel of the Twin Cities by Walter B. Ullrey embalmer -license number 3100. Local registrar was Leon M. Swift, M.D. Cause of death was suffocation by drowning. An autopsy was performed-gross findings used in determining stated causes of death. It was deamed an acident after he fell or slipped into a deep irrigation ditch about 6:30p.m. on 4/6/1959. It occurred while at work on the farm in rural Yuba City, Sutter County, California
