Kirchhoff Family
2nd Generation August Kirchhoff (William) was born November 29, 1822
and died September 17, 1881 at 58 years of age. He was killed by a train
in Chicago. He had one of the original farms on Central Rd in Arlington
Heights, IL. He is buried at St Peter's Cemetery in Arlington Heights,
IL He married
Sophie Prellberg.
Sophie was born in Schulenburg Amt Calenburg, Hanover, Germany on October
8, 1828. She died April 28, 1904 in Arlington Heights,
Illinois at 75 years of age. Her funeral was at St.Peter's Church in
Arlington Heights, IL. The Kirchhoff's came to the US in 1852.
1. Christine Kirchhoff She was born Feb 25, 1847, and married Louis Busse April 16, 1863. She died Mar 10, 1934. 2. Henry Kirchhoff Was struck by lightening and died. 3. George Kirchhoff He was born October 26, 1855 and died September 27, 1904. He married Hannah Hanges in November 1876. He was killed by a falling tree. Click here for obituary. He is buried at St Peter's Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL. 4. Louis Kirchhoff Was found dead in bed. 5. William Kirchhoff He was born August 19, 1861, and married Marie Bussie. He died August 28, 1943 in Mt Prospect, IL.
