Kirchhoff Family 

1st Generation
Johann Heinrich Jurgen Christoph Kirchhoff was born February 7, 1795 in Lehrte, Hanover, Germany. He died April 3, 1870, at 75 years of age and was buried in Addison Township, Dupage County, Illinois, St John's Cemetery. He married Christine Marie Pfingsten.  Christine was born February 20, 1801. Christine died  August 14, 1880 at 79 years of age. Her body was interred August 1880 in Addison Township, DuPage County, Illinois. They came to the US in 1852.

They had the following children:

1. August Wilhelm Kirchhoff was born  November 29, 1822 in Germany.

2. Catharine Marie Kirchhoff was born  July 13, 1824 in Germany.

4. Heinrich Friedrich Ludwig Kirchhoff was born April 18, 1827 in Germany.

5. Dorothee Elise Christine Kirchhoff was born December 27, 1829 in Wennebostel, Dissendorf, Hanover, Germany. Dorothee died in Germany.

6. Marie Sophie Dorette Kirchhoff (#44) was born in Wennebostel, Dissendorf, Hanover, Germany November 27, 1832. Marie died 1848 at 15 years of age.

7. Johann Heinrich Kirchhoff was born  March 30, 1835.

8. Sophie Dorothee Ernestine Kirchhoff was born  February 10, 1838.

9. Marie Sophie Henriette Kirchhoff was born  October 22, 1840.

10. Heinrich August Kirchhoff  was born  April 5, 1843. Heinrich died July 1856 at 13 years of age. His body was interred July 1856 in Addison Twp, DuPage County, Illinois, St. John's Cemetery.
