Hilery S. Newman

Hilery S. Newman, 86, of Hillsville, Va., passed away on Friday, November 23, 2007 at Waddell Nursing & Rehab Center. Mr. Newman was born in Wythe County, Va. to the late Garnett and Annie Mae Duncan Newman. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a POW during the war. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delphia Newman; brothers, Paul, Buford and Bolen Newman; and a sister, Beulah Hudson. He is survived by three sisters-in-law, Ollie Newman of Austinville, Lucille Newman of Hillsville and Helen Newman of Mt. Airy, N.C.(this is NOT complete item)
