If your BATES line came from the Old Dominion, you may be want to join the organization, The Bates Family of Old Virginia (BFOOV). Membership benefits include the opportunity to borrow books from the society's lending library. The annual dues of $20 include a subscription to the newsletter THE BATES BOOSTER edited by Cindy Dambach.
