The small pamphlet, CONSTITUTION OF THE SUNDAY-SCHOOL OF SOLOMON’S REFORMED CHURCH OF MACUNGIE, PENNSYLVANIA, was published in 1908. Consisting of eleven pages, the 3 ½ x 5 inch booklet provides the articles (by-laws) that were voted on, after a two weeks’ notice, by a church committee. Listed on page 11, the members of the committee were
Rev. Simon SIPPLE,
Hon. W. N. DECKER,
George F. KERCHNER,
Mrs. Elizabeth G. WALBERT,
and
Miss Katie J. FAUST.
The constitution was ratified at a special meeting of the Consistory of Solomon’s Reformed Congregation on 2 February 1908. As president of the committee, Rev. Simon SIPPLE signed the document and John F. WIEDER, in his position of secretary, attested to the acceptance.
A copy of the pamphlet is available at the Macungie Historical Society in Macungie, Pennsylvania.
