IA- this meant Indiana in this census!); John T., 19, Farmer; Susan E., 17, Richard R., 14; William B., 11. Father, William, not with family in 1870 census, assume had died. [KG had d. 8 Apr 1863] Per 1870 census, Adel Twp, Dallas Co, IA, Sarah, age 66, b. KY, Keeping House (Head of household, 4250, 1432), with dau, Catherine, age 32 and son, William, age 21 From KG, p. 241:Sarah was the daughter of Alexander Clark and Sally Glenn, b. 1 Jan 1778. Sally Clark Ross (widow of Richard Ross) was a young widow, 21 years of age, with children, Robert and Nancy Ross.
