This chapter (12) provides information about the family of Peter, Jr. and Mary (Kinnick) Rector.

Peter was born 14 Nov 1773, in Prince William Co, Virginia. He died in 1827, in Rowan Co, North Carolina.

Mary was born in 1787, in Charles Co, Maryland, the daughter of John and Ann Kinnick. Mary second married Peter Little. Mary died in 1873, in Indiana, and is buried in the Preuit Cemetery, Madison Co, Indiana.

It is believed they were married in 1804 or 1805, possibly in Charlestown, North Carolina.
