John and Ann Kinnick
owned land in North Carolina
These maps provide an idea of where it was located.
This map, where circled, shows the portion of the Yadkin river where John and Ann, and their family, lived from 1792 into the first half of the 1800s.
They lived on the left bank, the west side of the river.
See the following map for a few other details.
Notice Dutchman's Creek, lower left, above.
It was along this creek that some of David Kinnick's land was located.
This map, where circled, also marks where the Kinnick
land was, on the left or west bank of the Yadkin. The cabin, in the left of
the circle, marks where
Danial and Rebecca Boone had lived, about l6 years before the Kinnicks arrived.
Note Mocksville in the center of the photo.
