Jasper and Elizabeth Front Page
This is the Jasper Kinnick (b. abt 1712) married (?) family page.

Children of Jasper and (?):

1. Joseph Kinnick

2. John Kinnick (b. abt 1754) married Ann

That John is the son of Jasper (and not William, as stated in the 1953 book) is clearly shown on the 1775 land purchase agreement. While Mrs. Waggener had the reference, it is now understood that she had not actually seen the document, and her researcher at the Maryland Archives did not read it either or did not understand the implications if he did.

Joseph information:

There was a Joseph Kinnick in the Maryland records. Relationships are not known with any certainty. For convenience, he has been assigned as a son of Jasper. Further, three sons, men also known to have been there, but little otherwise known, have been assigned as his sons, primarily because of their apparent relative ages: William, Richard, and Jonathan. William is the "other William" that Mrs. Waggener reported in her 1953 book, and was listed on the tax roles at the same time as William, the husband of Sarah. All three of these young men served in the military during the revolution. There has been no record found to date that they either married or had an descendants of their own.
