ROBERT CARL MORROW III

"Bob" Robert Morrow III was born March 18, 1942 in Blackwell, Okla. to Robert C. Morrow Jr. and Frances Morrow. He moved to Kiefer in 1949 where he remained until his passing Oct. 10, 2006.

Bob married his wife Sandy in Miami, Okla., on April 17, 1970, and together they raised two children. In the later years, his grandchildren became the light of his world and he enjoyed them immensely. He worked with metal all his life, but most of his work was more like art. His signature style Iron Gates dot the countryside for miles in every direction.

Bob is survived by his wife Sandy Morrow; brother Vance Morrow; sister Linda Pruitt; son Rob Morrow; daughter Kimberly Ballard; and grandchildren Trayce Day, Daniel Ballard, Quint Morrow and Andrew Ballard.

Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert Morrow Jr. and Frances Morrow, and youngest grandson, Adrian Morrow.

Bob left his mark first in the hearts of his beloved family and many special friends, and second in his quality work and in ornamental iron that shall remain to be seen by many people for many years, across many miles. His sense of humor was a big part of his character that was loved by all and his antics both at work and at play will not soon be forgotten.

Bob loved life and many things from hunting to cowboy and Indian collectibles, but his biggest love was his family. He was always hard at work, but took time to play as well. He enjoyed taking his family sightseeing, playing chess with his kids, and doing tractor pulls with Robbie, but his real excitement came with his grandsons. He spoiled them endlessly, taking them fishing, buying them the best toys and feeding them as much ice cream as they could eat.

Sometimes a lifetime is not enough, but it's all we have. He has gone home to be with the Lord, but in our hearts we will live on remembering him always.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2006 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.

The family has entrusted the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
