GARDNER -- P.E. "Buddy", 58, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 22, 2006, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of Buddy's life will take place 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006, at New Haven United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK. Buddy was born in Claremore, OK, November 21, 1947 and graduated from Tulsa Nathan Hale in 1966. In 1967, he joined the Air Force and served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. In March of 2005 Buddy celebrated 20 years with American Airlines and was an Inspector at the time he became ill. Buddy is survived by: his mother, L.M. Peterson; his sister, Sharon Fairlie; his wife, Nancy; his daughters, Monique and Lilly; granddaughter, Jordyn; and stepchildren, Lindsey Stinson, and Greg and Benjamin Hurst; and the rest of his extended family. His laughter and cooking will be missed around deer camp. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 6600 S. Yale, Suite 350, Tulsa, OK 74136.
