Two people were killed in separate accidents Saturday and Sunday on Oklahoma roadways, state troopers reported.
Dead are Dylan McIntosh, 23, of Jenks and Joe Ewing, 54, of Okmulgee, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
McIntosh was killed Saturday when the 2002 Oldsmobile he was driving south on Post Oak Road in Creek County crested a hill and collided with another vehicle traveling north.
Troopers reported that both vehicles traveled left of center as they crested the same hill shortly after 4 p.m.
The driver of the northbound vehicle, Wayne Dickenson, 20, of Sapulpa, was taken to a hospital with internal injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt, the OHP reported.
McIntosh was wearing a seat belt, as was passenger Joshua Hollingsworth, 21, of Sapulpa. Hollingsworth was taken to a Tulsa hospital.
Ewing was killed early Sunday when the Dodge pickup he was driving at a high rate of speed in Okmulgee County ran off a road and struck a tree, OHP reports show.
The pickup was traveling west on 251st Street South, about a mile and a half west of U.S. 75 when it left the roadway and hit a tree about 1:20 a.m. Ewing, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected about 50 feet, troopers said.
