MARCHANT -- James Wesley "Butch," 62, of Bixby, OK, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2006. Loving husband of Vickie, with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage. Devoted father of son, David Marchant, who preceded him in death and daughter, Brenda Bissett. Dear son of the late Evelyn McElroy Duncan and Wesley Hiddon Marchant. Beloved son-in-law, of Pat and Amelda Crowell. Cherished grandfather of Wesley Andrew Bissett. Beloved brother of Billy Joe Lewis and wife, Cynthia. Sisters, the late Evelyn "Collene" Bateman and Elaine Cook. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was an active member of Riverview Baptist Church in Bixby. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riverview Baptist Church Heritage Fund. Service 10 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2006, at Riverview Baptist Church. Interment Bixby Cemetery.
