A look at Oklahomans who have died in the war on terror:

Oklahoma National Guard Spc. Kyle A. Brinlee: Brinlee: 21, of Pryor, died Tuesday (May 11, 2004) near Alasad, Iraq, when an explosive blew up the vehicle in which he was a passenger.

Army Spc. James E. Marshall: Marshall, 19, of Tulsa, was killed May 4, (2004), when his vehicle hit an improvised explosive in Baghdad.

Army Staff Sgt. Eric H. Petty: Petty, 28, of Fort Gibson, was killed May 3, by small-arms fire while providing security at a weapons cache is Salman Al Habb, Iraq.

Marine Cpl. Scott M. Vincent: Vincent, 23, of Bokoshe, was killed May 3, (2004) "due to hostile action" in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.

Army Chief Warrant Officer Lawrence Colton: Colton, 32, of Oklahoma City, was killed April 11, (2004), when his helicopter was shot down near Baghdad.

Fern Holland: Holland, 33, who grew up in northeastern Oklahoma, was killed March 9, (2004), with two other civilians in an ambush south of Baghdad.

Army Sgt. Kyle Seitsinger: Seitsinger, 29, of Oklahoma City, was killed Jan. 29, (2004), when mortar rounds and rifle ammunition exploded in Afghanistan, about 90 miles southwest of Kabul.

Army 2nd Lt. Luke S. James: James, 24, of Hooker, was killed Jan. 27, (2004), when a bomb exploded near Iskandariyah, Iraq.

Army Sgt. Ross A. Pennanen: Pennanen, 36, of Shawnee, was one of six soldiers killed Nov. 2, (2003), when their helicpoter was shot down near Fallujah, Iraq.

Army Pvt. Jason M. Ward: Ward, 25, of Broken Arrow, died Oct. 22, (2003), in Baghdad of "non-combat related" causes.

Army Spc. Stephen Michael Scott: Scott, 21, of Lawton, died Aug. 23, (2003) of a gunshot wound in Iraq near Fallujah.

Army Pfc. Daniel Parker: Parker, 18, who grew up in Oklahoma City, died Aug. 13, (2003) in Mosul, Iraq, after being thrown from his vehicle when the driver swerved to avoid hitting a civilian vehicle.

Army Spc. Jonathan Paul Barnes: Barnes, 21, of Coweta, was killed July 26, (2003> in a grenade attack in Baqouba, Iraq.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Doyle W. Bollinger Jr.: Bollinger, 21, of Poteau, was killed June 6, (2003), when a piece of unexploded ammunition went off where he was working near the Tigris River in Iraq.

Marine Staff Sgt. Aaron Dean White: White, 27, of Shawnee, died May 19, 2003, when the helicopter he was in crashed into the Shat Al-Hillah canal in Iraq.

Marine Lance Cpl. Thomas A. Blair: Blair, 24, of Broken Arrow, died March 24, 2003, when members of Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment took control of a bridge on the northern edge of Nasiriyah, Iraq.

Here is a look at Oklahomans who have been killed in the war on terrorism:

* Marine Staff Sgt. Melvin L. Blazer, 38, of Moore, died Sunday (December 12, 2004) as a result of enemy action in Anbar province, Iraq.

* Army Sgt. Carl W. Lee, 23, of Oklahoma City, was killed by hostile fire near Ramadi, Iraq, on Nov. 28.

* Marine Lance Cpl. Jordan D. Winkler, 19, of Tulsa, died in a non-combate related incident Nov. 26, at Camp Fallujah, Iraq.

* Marine Cpl. Nathaniel T. Hammond, 24, of Tulsa, died Nov. 8 in combat in Babil province, Iraq.

* Air Force Capt John J. Boria, 29, of Broken Arrow, died Sept. 6 of injuries he received when the recreational all-terrain vehicle he was driving crashed near Dohar, Qatar.

* Marine Cpl. Lamont N. Wilson, 20, of Lawton, died Sept. 6 in a car bombing in Fallujah, Iraq.

* Marine Pvt. Nachez Washalanta II, 21, one of four Marines killed Aug. 21 when a bomb destroyed a vehicle in a convoy patrolling near Mosul, Iraq. Washalanta had attended schools in Ardmore and Silo, a community northwest of Durant.

* Marine Lance Cpl. Joseph L. Nice, 19, of Nicoma Park, was killed Aug. 4 in Anbar province, Iraq, because of enemy action.

* Army Spc. Sonny Gene Sampler, 23, of Oklahoma City, died July 8 when a military headquarters in Samarra, Iraq, was attacked with a car bomb and mortar shells.
