The 71st birthday of S. J. "Jake" Yocham was celebrated Sunday with dinner at the Heritage House in Tulsa, followed by cake, ice cream and the opening of gifts at his home.
Family members attending were his wife, Mildred; children, Robert and Lou Yocham, Richard and Wanda Yocham, Dolores and Ellis Smith and Linda and Clifton Cottrell. All are Sapulpans with the exception of the Smiths, who live at Ft. Smith.
Also, these grandchildren, Paula McGuire, Harlan and Tammy Yocham, Jeanene Yocham, Janet McGuire, Kim and Tad Rupert, LaVonne Yocham, Brian and Becky Smith, all of Sapulpa, and Kevin and Regina Smith of Ft. Smith.
Great-grandchildren were Shane McGuire, Chris McGuire, Cameron McGuire and the newest family member, one-month old Kristin McGuire.
Guests were the Rev. and Mrs. Carl Page.
Family members reminded the honoree that he not only shared his birthday with President Reagan, but both are now 71.
