Family History & Genealogy
Descended
from the colonial Hall family of New Haven and Wallingford, Connecticut.
After the Revolutionary War, Samuel Hall went to central New York. Two
of his sons settled in upstate New York, near Watertown. Later descendants
went to Missouri, and eventually to southern California.
Traces
the descent from the immigrant ancestor, William Ives, through colonial
Connecticut and into central and upstate New York. Intermarriage with
Hall family.
Charles
Smith, Revolutionary War veteran from Virginia, later moved to Miller
County, Missouri, with his son Champ Smith.
