William David Gossett was the son of Nathan
and Arena (Bishop) Goset/Gossett of Union Co.S.C. There are many
descendants of William David Gossett. The information on William
David Gossett and his family was supplied by Mrs. William (Lettie Clark)
Gossett, who states that Nathan Goset/Gossett was the son of George Goswick
who died 1812 in Franklin Co. N.C... George Goswick's will in 1812 does
mention a son Nathan Goswick, and the grandmother Rebecca Boon also mentions
her grandsons Nathan and Johnson Goswick. Both Nathan and Johnson
Goswick are found as Gossett.

William David Gossett, son of Nathan was my great grt. grandfather.
Wife #1 Martha ? had two children by him before she died.(according to
censas 1870 she was 20 in SC.) I am searching for her last name, and or
family. The two girls are Geneva Karene Gossett ( my grt .grandmother)
and Ida Gossett. Ida b. 1875 SC.

Johns daughter Lilly had a set.
2 of Davids Daughters had twins
Geneva had Mattie & Minnie
Her 1/2 sister Ada had 2 sets (1920s) Hessie & Tressie
and Winaford & Winabee (not sure of spelling)
The one of the twins Hessie had a set Johhny & Betty.
The I (Genevas grt granddaughter) Pat had twins in 1951
Patricia & Sherry.
