Note that the last two children, James and Edward were born in New Jersey, so Charles Gostick must have moved to Houston, Tx. after 1855 and before 1860. There are two Gostick men listed in early census records of 1840 in New York.
Since Dana (Gostick) Ables lineage are of the Harris Co., Houston Area, this is most likely her lineage. Dana is listed under Gabriel Gostick.

I have a Vital Records Index and it has only one Gostick on it. It looks as if it could be George, the son.
