Draper often spoke of Uncle Jim, carpenter, who would come down to the Fred & Lillie Draper farm in Melrose Township, Grundy Co., IA. Apparently he helped build the large house of their farm (operated from 1983 to present 1994 by Glen Draper) which was built about 1910, and probably helped build the smaller east house on that farm.
